The Power of Superfoods and Clean Eating
Welcome to Adams & Adams, we are a renowned company offering exceptional catering and event management for private clients, high-end corporate brands and superyacht companies. Our expertise lies in organising prestigious events and providing exquisite catering services that cater to various budgets and requirements.
In this blog post, we will explore the world of superfoods and the manifold benefits of clean eating. Health and wellness is a recurring event theme as private and corporate clients seek to pursue a more balanced and healthier lifestyle. There is an increased awareness of the benefits of balancing mental, physical, and emotional health needs. Superfoods are one of the key ingredients to support this sought-after lifestyle.
Superfood Catering
Since 2003, our history of catering to esteemed clients necessitates our ability to cater to diverse dietary needs and we understand the importance of accommodating dietary restrictions. Whether your guests have preferences for vegan, vegetarian, or other dietary requirements such as gluten-free food options, our skilled chefs will create mouthwatering dishes that delight the taste buds.
Superfoods make great canapés! Generally, superfoods are not filling at all (so they won’t ruin main meals) and are all about taste, texture and colour. You can also opt for small-portion desserts which contain light, raw ingredients and focus on high-quality ingredients, taste and presentation rather than quantity.
Our experienced chefs can also prepare a diverse range of gluten-free options that do not compromise on taste or quality. From elegant plant-based hors d’oeuvres to beautifully plated vegetable platters, our event catering options ensures that every guest is nourished and satisfied.
10 Powerful Superfoods
You’ve likely heard the term “superfoods” used quite a bit and have probably heard about all of the benefits offered by these nutrient-rich foods. So what is a superfood exactly?
Several sources have tried to set a more specific definition for superfoods. Oxford Dictionary, for example, defines a superfood as “a nutrient-rich food considered to be especially beneficial for health and well-being.” Meanwhile, according to Merrian-Webster, the term means “a food (such as broccoli, blueberries or salmon) that is rich in compounds (such as antioxidants, fibre or fatty acids) considered beneficial to a person’s health.”
There you go – superfoods are exactly that; super! As the name suggests, they are nature’s best ingredients packed with essential nutrients, antioxidants and vitamins which have incredible health benefits that include:
- regulation of metabolism and burning of fat
- lowering cholesterol and blood pressure
- preventing and reducing inflammation
- supporting digestive/gut health
Serving raw, organic and superfood dishes at your next event will bring colour and vibrancy to both corporate and celebratory events. Superfood catering not only tastes incredible, it looks amazing too.
